Jim Cornwell a graduate of Hofstra University has 30 years of insurance industry experience. His background originated in claims and claims management at Fireman’s Fund which helped establish his expertise in General liability exposure and hazard analysis. He was with Ace/Westchester for 8 years where he managed a large book of NY construction building his construction focus . Jim utilized his claims and underwriting experience to eventually managing a $350m nationwide construction book while at Argo Group where he tenured for 11 years.

Jordan Marks, a strong leader in the NY Construction marketplace, is a graduate of the University of Michigan.  Jordan has over 10 years of industry experience starting with Argo where he begun in claims and built his knowledge of risk transfer, litigation and claims management. He transitioned into Underwriting where he developed strong broker relationships and built a strong performing NY construction book consisting of $120M in premium. His focus on risk selection is vital in the execution of the strategy and his knowledge and interactions with claims has been instrumental in maintaining the successful performance of the book.

Jessica Tanner studied Business Management at Bloomsburg University and has 15 years of insurance experience.  Most recently at Argo Group where she held various leadership roles over the past 7 year.  She was instrumental in the success of the Owner’s Only Team which went from a ‘spin-off’ of the NY Construction business to book of over $40M in premium for the company.  This was achieved by the development of a digital rating platform and creating a market standard for this product. Prior to Argo, Jessica was at Traveler’s as a Sales Executive responsible for retail partner relationships, production, distribution, and retention of a $30M book throughout the New York City Region.  She started her insurance career at The Hartford as a Personal Lines Insurance Consultant.
